New library technology Targeting the problem from two directions Bottom up approach Introduce new library technology and concepts in library services to library school students, junior librarians Top to bottom approach Start the work from where we are and convert retrospectively using available technology.(Ground Work)

Design a two tier program Existing Librarians Electronic reference Bibliographic data source Data harvester and editor retrospective conversion service Electronic journals database collect open source journals Web page development, design and publish with all above in it ILMS implementation Automate acquisitions and circulation, OPAC etc. • User awareness • User inputs • Accessibility • Display resources • Share resources • Access bibliographic data • Understand bibliographic standards New Library Students
