  2. Setting The setting takes place near forest, rivers, and houses. Each clan has a different area to live in. The time setting is in modern times.

  3. Firepaw Firepaw is a kittypet (a cat that lives with humans) that gives up his kittypet life and decides to join ThunderClan. One of the four clans.

  4. Graypaw Graypaw is a young ThunderClan apprentice who finds Firepaw and becomes best friends with him.

  5. Ravenpaw Ravenpaw is a young ThunderClan apprentice that has a very active imagination and is really shy, he is friends with Graypaw and becomes friends with Firepaw.

  6. Tigerclaw Tigerclaw is a ThunderClan warrior that think’s he’s perfect, and is almost never pleased.

  7. Yellowfang Yellowfang is a loner (a cat who used to be or never was part of a clan and doesn’t live with Towlegs) that abandoned ShadowClan, and was found by Firepaw.

  8. Bluestar Bluestar is the leader of ThunderClan, she is very nice and forgiving.

  9. Problem and Solution Problem The problem is that Firepaw became suspicious of Tigerclaw because he overheard Tigerclaw gossiping about Ravenpaw who is Firepaw’s friend. Ravenpaw also doesn’t trust Tigerclaw because he saw him kill another clan’s deputy. Solution Read the second book “Fire and Ice” to find out.

  10. Events Firepaw and Graypaw send Ravenpaw to live with a loner so he will be safe from Tigerclaw. On the mission to the Moonstone Firepaw, Graypaw, Ravenpaw, Tigerclaw, and Bluestar get attacked by rats. During the fight Bluestar loses another one of her 9 lives. ShadowClan attacks ThunderClan and some of ThunderClan’s cats get killed in the fight. Firepaw finds a sick loner named Yellowfang. Firepaw helps her and brings her back to the camp. Yellowfang gets better and becomes ThunderClan’s new medicine cat.
