  3. We All Know The legislative environment probably has the most effect on any industry GOOD legislative system is essential for having sustainable development in ICT industry
  4. We All Know It is a belief held by most of those who have contact with ICT Industry that the role of the legislative environment is restricted only to informatics Cybercrimes, internet and intellectual property.
  5. We All Know In fact ICT could be one of the unique industries that also affects the legislative environment generally. Laws and policies greatly overlap with and impact on the ICT industry.
  6. ICT effects Undeniably, the legislative environment is affected hugely by the developments in ICT so much so that some of the legislative articles of laws in general have had to be amended in response to the rapid changes in this field.
  7. Laws that affect ICT and vice versa 1. Investment laws 2. Laws and decrees governing trade and commerce3. Procurement Laws 4. Laws for rights of information5. Laws protecting public and personal information6. Intellectual property laws

  9. Laws, Decrees and ICT If ICT in laws are disregarded, the industry pan becomes heavier and falls resulting in untold losses. If the pan for ICT dominates, then the laws pan will become heavier . Therefore these laws should be specific to the regulation of ICT.
  10. Laws , Decrees and ICT Both pans of the pair of scales have to be of equal weight for ICT to achieve a legislative balance with other industries that informatics and communications serve. This will free all to reach the highest possible profit, economic and scientific.
