  4. Production Technology • Seed soaking in 0.05% thio-urea solution for two hour is beneficial for more production. • Seed treatment with Rhizobium + PSB culture increase the yield significantly. • Apply 20 Kg. Nitrogen and 40 Kg. Phosphorus and 150 Kg. Gypsum / ha. • OR • If FYM available 2 tons FYM /ha. Can fulfil the 50 % nutrient requirement of guar • In Zinc deficient soils 20 Kg. Zinc Sulphate as soil application.

  5. Weed Management Crop should be weed free up to 21 days of sowing : one Hand weeding . Disease Management: Bacterial Leaf blight : Seed treatment with Streptocycline 250 ppm solution for 1.30 hr. and spray the crop with a mixture of Zinc Sulphate (0.25%) + Azerdirectin (1.5ml/l) twice start from onset of disease at an interval of 15 days. Wilt/Root rot : Seed treatment with Moncern 3ml/Kg. +Carbandazim 2g/Kg. +Soil application of Trichodermaharzianum 1.5 Kg./ha.

  6. CONTIGENCY PLAN • Wider row spacing (45 cm.) will be more beneficial for better utilization of available moisture and nutrient. • To mitigate drought situation every third row can skip (IN 30 CM. ROW SPACING) to supply required moisture to left over plants. • Spray of 0.05 % Thio-urea solution on standing crop (flowering).
