  2. Goal • Web-based facility that can be used to map, monitor and serve as a database of information which will help prevent corruption

  3. Purpose • Establish a support group that can work together in helping each other to create a map through sharing of resources, experiences, tools and techniques applicable to a particular area of focus.

  5. Plan • Strengthen and broaden existing mapping initiatives by sharing resources and experiences: - Checkmyschool.org (Philippines) - UNICEF (Uganda)

  6. Plan • Create a mapping for social accountability in the following areas: - Elections (Colombia) - Public Budget (Yemen) - Services provided by the municipality/governemtn (Afghanistan, Cameroon) - Education/ sanitation in schools (Tanzania, Macedonia, Peru) - NGO (Haiti)

Next Steps • Read about mapping and look at the tools • Research on the situation if mapping is applicable in my place • Share resources on mapping • Creating the facebook page and mailing list • Microsite inside the ning site containing resources and one which will link the organizations working on mapping • Determine resources available which can support the mapping initiative • Submit a report on the progress of the initial mapping work • Schedule a sharing session (skype conference, virtual meetings and etc.)
