In 2012, Maoribank focused on enhancing staff ICT skills through regular techy breakfasts, establishing a robust infrastructure and transitioning to cloud computing and wireless options. E-learning remained a key priority across all teaching programs, with initiatives to involve whanau in this digital journey. Progress included improved classroom computer setups, electronic absence tracking, class blogs, and daily interactive whiteboard (IWB) use by teachers and students. These efforts aim to create an engaging and up-to-date learning environment for all.

Action Plan • To have regular techy breakys to upskill staff in the use of ICT programmes • To plan for the establishment of a strong infrastructure and hardware base and to move towards cloud computing and wireless options • To ensure that e-learning remains a focus for all teaching programmes • To find authentic ways to share e-learning and to enable participation by whanau in e-learning

Expectations • Every day teachers are expected to: • Display daily timetable on IWB • Invite students to use IWB in morning – writing name for example on timetable • Access and add to daily notices using Smart Net • Complete their absences using Musac
