Born on April 24, 1973, in Mumbai, India, Sachin started playing cricket at a young age and soon became a national hero. He is considered one of the greatest batsmen of all time and has an impressive list of records to his name. In this article, we will take a closer look at the life and career of Sachin Tendulkar. Early Life and Career Sachin Tendulkar was born to a middle-class family in Mumbai. His father, Ramesh Tendulkar, was a well-known Marathi novelist, and his mother, Rajni Tendulkar, worked in an insurance company. Sachin had three elder siblings and grew up in a small apartment in Mumbai. Sachin showed an interest in cricket from a young age and started playing in the streets with his friends. He was just eleven years old when he was noticed by Ramakant Achrekar, a famous cricket coach. Achrekar recognized Sachin's talent and took him under his wing, providing him with training and guidance.
