  2. Medical Insurance Plan (MIP) • RMIP is doing well • Jim Clagett will speak to the MIP finances • MIP Satisfaction Survey is underway-please participate!

  3. Medical Insurance Plan (MIP): HQ • Accomplishments • Dental Audit and Re-audit- problems corrected • RMIP Insurance Records Verification-$250,000 savings to the plan for 2008. Much more for 2009. • Replaced current Pharmacy Benefits Manager-$2,000,000 reduction in cost/year (MIP & RMIP) • Van Breda Participants now have an Aetna card when visiting the USA.

  4. Medical Insurance Plan (MIP): HQ • Special MIP Initiatives Underway • Prevention/Disease Management Program. Working with Catalyst to identify target illnesses. • Pilot of prevention/disease management program with HSD. (January 2009) • On-site Pharmacy in the Bank (Fall 2009)

  5. Upcoming • Rebid of the MIP Administrators (Aetna & Van Breda) –the Decision Process • Satisfaction Survey Staff/Retirees • Review of pricing for admin services. • Network access review • Review of competitors • Discuss with Procurement our Findings Other Issues? Tell me.
