Star Fireworks. Austin Iverson. Current situation!. Our current problem is not having enough space to store multiple kinds of fireworks on hand at once. We have had many customers come in and ask for specific fireworks and we didn’t have them on hand because we didn’t have space for it.

Current situation! Our current problem is not having enough space to store multiple kinds of fireworks on hand at once. • We have had many customers come in and ask for specific fireworks and we didn’t have them on hand because we didn’t have space for it. • We don’t have space to put more product out. All the shelves are packed tightly which is a big struggle for the customers and the employees. • The expansion would give the employees a break room, give the owner a small office and make a bigger inventory space to keep extra fireworks in. • Our company doesn’t make enough money to expand, so the money that we will make with the new expansion will hopefully make us a profit. • The new expansion and adding new buildings in surrounding areas will open up jobs for people that are unemployed and will give them the opportunity to work and provide for their family.
Why we need this! • We need this extra money to expand our company and add more locations. The expansion will create more shelving space which will reduce the product being packed closely together, add more types of fireworks onto the shelves and also hold more of a high-selling type of fireworks on the shelves.
Options! We have discussed a number of measures to address these situations. 1. We talked about adding more shelving: Adding more shelving will make the products less crowded on the shelves and will allow us to add more product. More shelving would make it so we can have many more of a high-selling product on the shelf. 2. We talked about adding more check-out lines: More check-out lines will make it more efficient. And the customers will be less frustrated with waiting in a long line. Even if we added one or two more lines it would make the process a lot easier then only one line on a busy summer weekend day or on the fourth of July when everybody wants to go out and buy fireworks they can with a closer location instead of driving to a near by town to buy some fireworks to have a good time with. Also more buildings means possibly more money. 3. We also talked about opening more locations in surrounding areas: It would allow customers to drive less to the location and it would be less irritating for them. It would also be more efficient because they would be wasting less they would be wasting out of their day.

Staffing problems Why We Are Asking For Money? We are asking for the donation from Angle Funds because we would like to expand our company so we can become bigger and more known. We are asking for a $750,000 donation. $450,000 to pay for the 40’ by 50 addition. 10,000 a month for rent. And still be able to pay the employees. Our current staffing problems is we only have 3 staff working for the company. The manager has to help out at casher and help restock the shelf when it shouldn’t be his job to. The normal employee is getting $8.25/hr and the manager is getting $10.50/hr. We would like more of a donation so we could get a few more normal employees so the manager can do more managing stuff.
