  3. EXAMPLES OF THIS “ BALANCE” • CITY OF MOUNTAIN HOME IS $17,996,018.00 • CITY OF GLENN’S FERRY IS $ 1,732,223.00 • ELMORE COUNTY IS $ 14,895,746.00 • ECPAD IS $144,000.00 • WECRD IS $467,487.00 ALL ARE ESTIMATES….. FOR NEXT YEAR----***

  4. LAST WEEK’S PAPER HEADLINE “City proposes budget $1.3 million less than last year” Also is saying they expect $1.3 million $ less in tax revenue……. “WECRD plans $27,000 budget hike” Also is saying we expect $27,000 $ more in new construction levy (Homes built in the last 2 years)

MORE FACTS TO KNOW • The WECRD Directors unanimously decided to forgo the available 3% tax increase option. • The WECRD has routinely honored all “circuit breaker” households- which allows those qualifying low income property owners to NOT PAY THE WECRD TAX. • The WECRD assets will be available to follow the recommendations of the CLDC/YMCA.

WECRD welcomes a partnership with Treasure Valley YMCA to determine area recreational needs and sustainability by using the CLDC.
