  8. Remainder • If it does not divide evenly then you put your remainder over the divisor

  9. Divide: x2 + x + 1byx + 1

  10. Divide: x2 + 2x - 12byx - 3

  11. (x2 + 2x - 9)  (x - 2)

  12. Insert missing terms if it is not in consecutive order with a 0 • Example: 0x
