Act 1 Scene 1Setting: A street in Verona Character(s):Sampson, Gregory, Abram, Benvolio, Tybalt, Officer, Lord Capulet, Lady Capulet, Lord Montague, Lady Montague, Prince, Romeo External Conflict: Montagues and Capulets are two families that do not get along Internal Conflict: Romeo is in love with a girl that doesn’t love him back. Complication(S): Prince tries to stop feud by declaring that the next person that starts a fight will die. Benvolio tries to help Romeo by encouraging him to look at other girls. Summary:

Internal Conflict:Lord Capulet does not want to rush his only child into marriage. Romeo is in love with Rosaline, but she will not marry him.
