Engage · Inform · Inspire • Who are ACC? • Provide courses of learning for Residential Care Workers, Homecare Workers, Registered Nurses & Managers - older people • Awarded Skills for Care 'Centre of Excellence' status, national provider 2013 & renewed each year • Work in partnership with international care industry experts, Care Associations & care providers to demonstrate positive approach to care & best practice • Work closely with sector lead bodies e.g.Skills for Care, Care England, UKHCA & NCF to support wider development of care sector across UK

Engage · Inform · Inspire • Learning Resources – the 3 E’s • Essential, Extension & Evidence • Alongside the high definition televisual learning programmes, we have • three levels of learning assessment, with flexibility for the learning co-ordinator to decide on the • appropriate level for each of their learners. • Level One: Essential Assessment – a test of knowledge & understanding once the learner has viewed the programme – multiple choice, True/False etc. • Level Two: Extension Assessment – an opportunity for reflective practice & discussion between the learner & supervisor • Level Three: Evidence Assessment – tools for the supervisor to observe learning in practice & to record the development areas to be carried through to the next supervision meeting
