  1. Heavy Duty Steel Strapping to Advocate Industrial Packaging Steel is an incredible material –it’s astoundingly versatile and durable. Heavy duty steel strapping is the process of binding a metal strap to a box, structure, or other items to ensure that the particular object does not move. It is the most common material for a strap. The oldest form of the strap also happens to be the most tensile for wholesale packaging supplies. Steel can be used to hold extremely tough objects and does not stretch. Usage Some of the most common uses for steel strapping including bundling together other metals, roll end binding, pavers and bricks, baling wire, and strong steel coils. Other common applications for such straps include – Securing packaged glass and making sure that it stays locked in place so no breaks, scratches, or damage occurs. Securing wide loads within large containers such as boxcars, trailers, and semi-trailers. Securely closing metal shipping containers and corrugated boxes. Locking items into place stop crates and pallets. Securing smaller items such as newspapers, small packages, books, paper, tools. etc., for shipping and handling. Strongest Strap Stainless steel strapping is some of the strongest strapping ones can use. It “break strength” – or the amount of weight it can take before breaking – is immense, making it the number one choice for heavy shipments. Compared to most other strapping materials, it is also extremely resistant to UV radiation, making it less likely to corrode over time when exposed to the outdoors. In general, it’s an extremely resistant material for both indoor and outdoor use. This could save a lot of maintenance and replacement money down the line. Advantages of Steel Strapping Strong and works well with heavy-duty packaging Available in a variety of different sizes, length, width, and weight categories Conclusion Steel strapping is probably the oldest tensile strapping method still available today. It was designed for heavy-duty packing on an industrial level and is still used by many organizations.
