Exploring Procrastination: Theoretical Perspectives in Psychology

This presentation delves into the intriguing behavior pattern of procrastination through the lens of psychology's major theoretical perspectives. We examine how biological factors, evolutionary history, psychodynamic influences, behavioral patterns, cognitive processes, humanistic considerations, and social-cultural contexts contribute to the phenomenon of procrastination. By utilizing a structured approach, our group will provide examples that illustrate each perspective, enhancing our understanding of why individuals delay tasks and decision-making.
