  2. What does a Red Bull contain? A Red Bull contains: • 27 grams of suger (2 tablespoons of sugar) • 80 mg of caffeine • Taurine (an essential amino acid where it increases the high levels of the skeletal and heart muscles of humans) • Glucuronolactone (it supports the body to lose eliminate waste products) • Sucrose (it sweetens the drink)

  3. Materials • 10 cans of Red Bull • plastic cups • 2L Ginger Ale • Sharpie • 10 test subjects • Hallway • Stop Watch

  4. Methodology • We pour and label each 8 oz Red Bull/Ginger Ale sample in an 8oz. Plastic cup • We ask each person to run from one end of the hall to the other. As they are running we time them. • The participants will drink the Red Bull/Ginger Ale. The following ratios of Red Bull:Ginger Ale were used so that the contents of Red Bull were the only variables, attempting to keep sugar, water, carbonation as constant as possible • Then, we wait 1 minute for them to drink the Red Bull • We ask them to run again and time them again as they run. • Throughout the experiment, we record data and qualitative notes

  7. Conclusion • In conclusion, we had fun doing this experiment. • A small change that we could’ve done was to work on this experiment earlier because we kept forgetting the materials. • But overall we felt like we did an excellent job.
