  1. SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019 SSC MTS Recruitment 2019 is a national level competitive exam conducted by Staff selection commission of India for the recruitment of personnel in various central government departments, ministries and offices. The basic eligibility conditions for the exam are: 1.Candidates must be between the age of 18-25 years to be eligible to apply for the exam. 2.The candidate applying must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee. 3.Candidate must have passed 10th standard or equivalent from a recognised university. Nationality Criteria for SSC MTS 2019: 1.The candidate must be a citizen of India or 2.A candidate must be a subject of Nepal or 3.The candidate must be a subject of Bhutan or 4.A candidate who is a Tibetan Refugee and has come to India for the purpose of settling in India before January 1, 1962 is eligible to apply for the exam. 5.A candidate of India having Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zaire and Vietnam with an intention of permanently settling in India is also eligible to apply for the exam. The candidate must have a certificate of eligibility issued by Government of India if they belong to a country other than India. Age relaxation based on caste of the candidates:

  2. The minimum and maximum age limits for the candidates applying are 18 to 25 years. SC/ST- The age relaxation is of 5 years. OBC- The age relaxation is of 3 years. PH- For General category candidates, the relaxation is of 10 years, 13 for OBC, 15 for SC/ST. Ex-Servicemen- For General category candidates, the relaxation is of 3 years, 6 years for OBC, 8 years for SC/ST. Candidates domiciled of Jammu and Kashmir- The relaxation is of 5 years for General category candidates, 8 years for OBC, 10 years for SC/ST. Widows/Divorced Women/Women who are judicially separated but not remarried- The limit is of 35 years of age for General category candidates, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST. Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities- The relaxation is of 3 years for General category candidates, 6 years for OBC, 8 years for SC/ST. Service clerks in the last year of their color service in the Armed forces- The age limit is of 45 years for General category candidates, 48 years of age for OBC, 50 years for SC/ST. Retrenched census employees of Office of Registrar General of India- The relaxation if of 3 years for all General, OBC and SC/ST candidates. Central Govt. Civilian employees who have rendered not less than three years regular and continuous service as on crucial date- The age limit is of 40 years, 43 years for OBC, 45 years for SC/ST candidates.

  3. Candidates seeking relaxation based on age must submit the relevant certificates asper the requirements. Date of birth of the candidate will be recorded as mentioned in the matriculation certificates. No changes will be accepted by the commission otherwise. Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognised board as on August 1, 2019. A candidate will not be eligible to apply if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination before the closing date of receipt of application form. Note- Candidates wishing to attempt the examination must not be involved in by fraudulent activities to get reservation and age relaxation or else He/she will be permanently debarred from the examinations conducted by the commission.
