  1. To do schedule for softwareH.Ishino (T.I.T.)Mar. 20, 2003 • Online software • Remaining things to be done • Commissioning to Belle DAQ system • To do for offline software • Remaining things to be done • Commissioning to Belle library

  2. Remaining tasks for online software • Establish all DAQ procedure with NSM (by mid. of Apr.) • Normal run → OK • VA calibration → not OK • TA calibration → seems to be OK • We have just started using the procedure. • include new slaves related with trigger (by end of Jun) • L1.5 controller by Tom-san • L0/L1 controller by Hazumi-san • Trigger monitor by Ushiroda-san • Reinforce monitor system (by end of Apr.) • Interlock system on SVD master daemon • Create an online real-time monitor • Debug, debug, debug… • There must be bugs and inconvenient points which we have not noticed so far.

  3. Commissioning to Belle DAQ system • Connection to the Event builder (by end of Jun.?) • In the last DAQ meeting, it was decided that Higuchi-san would work on this business. • Connection to the CDAQ and HV controller with NSM (by end of Jun. ?) • I think this business is not so difficult since NSM is the robust tool and communication between CDAQ/HV cont. and the SVD master daemon is not very complicate. • Install all software to Belle DAQ system (by end of Jun.?) • Arrangement of our software is need. • We must refrain from copying and/or making a symbolic link the source codes.

  4. Normal run Si ladder CDAQ Monitor data monitor Power supply PC control Run start/stop HV on/off monitor Sparc core TTM SVD master daemon control The requests are sent with NSM. monitor Sparc control FADC L1.5 datavia NFS PC farm EB ADC data data

  5. Remaining tasks for offline software • Basic software • Cal-svd (Ishino): ready. • if we need to modify data format, I have to update it. • Rec-svd (Onuki): ready • Check new rec-svd performance (by mid. of Apr. ) • Trak (Karim, shibata): ready • Local Dst production procedure (Shibata): (by mid. of Apr.) • For check performance (alignment, hit eff., etc.) • MC (Hara) (by end of Apr.) • Introduce floating strip • Solve p-n flip problem • Numbering problem

  6. Remaining tasks for offline software • Alignment • The goal of the alignment precision • Within 10um for shifts 0.1mrad for rotations • Two independent teams are now working on • Krakow method (by Maria-san) works well (it achieved the goal) • Tokyo method (by Kawai-san and Takahashi-san) would reach the goal soon. • Do alignment on the real detector. (from mid. Apr.) • Need cosmic ray muon data of full real SVD2. • Establish a procedure to produce micro-dst file.

  7. Remaining tasks for offline software • Self tracking (Shibata, Melbourne) • Under development. Need much efforts. • Vertex reconstruction • Check the performance of the current vertex reconstruction software in SVD2. (will be done by CP fit group) • Estimate impact parameter resolution (somebyody in SVD grp). • Develop new vertex algorithm (Vienna). • Offline monitor (Matsumoto) (by end of Sep.) • Prepare SVD_ME and QAM for SVD2 We, software group, need man power, especially for self tracking and vertex reconstruction. Anybody interested in those items is very welcome!

  8. Commissioning to the Belle library • Check compatibility between the recent Belle library and our independent SVD2 offline library. • Commit our SVD2 software to CVS • Target day → end of Jun.
