Amazing Words • Relocate- (prefix re means to do again) to locate in another place, move • If you keep talking I will relocate you to a new seat. • Familiarize- (suffix ize means to make) to make familiar • I want you to familiarize yourself with your new home. • Teach your partner these words.

  7. Conflict and Resolution A conflict is usually at the beginning of the story. They occur between people, between a person and a force of nature, or within a person. During the resolution the conflict is resolved.

  8. Conflict and Resolution • When we preview The Stormi Giovanni Club we can try to identify the conflict. • On page 113 I see a picture of a girl surrounded by moving boxes and looks upset. • I think the conflict will be that she has just moved and is unhappy about it.

Make sure your generalization is valid.
