In this Excel class, students learn key skills such as recording attendance, managing workbooks, and applying essential formulas for calculations. 1.Finding RETAIL PRICE • Formula : Cost*(Markup rate + 1) • Click D5 cell and enter formula and press ENTER. • AutoFill the formula by dragging along the column.
2.Finding sale price • Formula : Retail Price – (Retail Price * Percent Off) • Click F5 and enter the formula and press ENTER. • AutoFill the formula by dragging along the column.
3.Finding Profit margin • Formula : (Sale Price – Cost)/Sale Price • Click G5 and enter the formula and press ENTER. • AutoFill the formula by dragging along the column.
Rename worksheet (3 ways) • Double click on sheet tab and enter new name. • Click on ‘Format’ option in cell sectionin home ribbon and select ‘Rename Sheet’. • Right click on sheet tab and select ‘Rename’. • Change Worksheet Tab Color (2 ways) • Click on ‘Format’ option in cell sectionin home ribbon and select ‘Tab Color’. • Right click on sheet tab and select ‘Tab Color’ .
Insert Worksheet (4 ways) • Using icon. • Using ‘Insert’ option in ‘cells’ sectionof ‘home’ ribbon. • Right click on ‘worksheet tab’ and select ‘Insert’ option. • Using ‘Shift+F11’ shortcut. • Delete Worksheet (2 ways) • Using ‘Delete’ option in ‘cells’ section of ‘home’ ribbon. • Right click on ‘worksheet tab’ and select ‘Delete’ option.
Move worksheet • Click ‘sheet tab’ and drag to desired position. • Copy worksheet • Using ‘Move or Copy Sheet’ option in ‘cells’ section (Format) of ‘home’ ribbon.
