  2. Pros The navy should be able to use the animals and or sea lions to guard from intruders because animals are a very smart species and they can smell who is approaching just like they can smell their preys.

  3. Pros Dolphins biosonar is better than any man has made and they're best for covering ground in open water.

  4. Pros Dolphins can find intruders by themselves because they have been doing that for years.

  5. Cons The problem is cold air not cold water. Navy's plans would negate that The dolphins would only be guarding for 2 hours the rest of the time they would be in heated enclosures Its too much work for the dolphins to go back and fourth each time.

  6. Pros sea lions can see and hear better underwater and are better for shallower work around piers. sea lions can carry in their mouths special cuffs attached to long ropes.
