  3. Definition of Needs and Requirements… • The goal was to create an aesthetically pleasing dryer that would be useable in a solar home • The problem to invoke this goal is that the house needed a dryer that was energy efficient and also not an eye sore.

  4. Preliminary Options… • We wanted to get away from conventional dryers and use something that was already in the house to double as a dryer • The Closet • We revolved our ideas around making a concept dryer that could be put into a closet.
