  2. Relative Humidity • The percentage of water vapor that is in air compared to the maximum amount the air can hold at a certain temperature. • If the relative humidity is at 100%, it is saturated (should have precipitation) • Warm air can hold more vapor than cool air.

  3. Measuring Relative Humidity • Use a psychrometer • It has a wet bulb and a dry bulb. • If relative humidity is high, than the water on wet bulb evaporates slowly. • The relative humidity can be found comparing the temperatures of the wet and dry bulbs.
