Clackamas Community College Board of Education is a Governing Board • CCC cannot legally exist without our Board. • Examples of responsibilities: • Approve Collective Bargaining Agreements • Refer a Capital Bond or Local Option to district voters. • Adopt our Mission, programs, personnel policies • Hire, Evaluate, Terminate District Clerk/CEO/President • Adopt our budget and levy tax assessments • Established and operates under authority granted by the Oregon State Legislature ORS Chapter 341 • The Board is subject to the provisions of the Constitution of the state of Oregon, the Oregon Revised Statutes, the rules and regulations of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and • State Board of Education, • CCC Board policies and procedures, • Expressed will of the electorate.
