Wednesday, 5th February 2014Learning Objectives: - Reflect on the previous lesson and connect to this lesson! - Examine artifacts to: activate prior knowledge, build new knowledge, make connections, infer, and determine central ideas about Black History in the 1940’s – 1950’s to comprehend our new unit.   2. In Your Teams You Should: • Explore the artifact at each station for approximately 5 minutes. • Respond to the Questions for each Station and discuss your findings with your team. Station 2 5 MIN. Station 1 Station 3 Station 7 Station 6 Station 5 Station 4

  3. Your Responsibilities At each station, STOP and complete a self-check: • Each idea is written in complete sentences. • All your responses are evidenced based. • You can identify in each artifact where you got the idea.

  4. After you visit all Seven Stations: • Complete the Word Bank activity. • Choose a word from the word bank that best represents the artifact at each station. • Compare and discuss your findings with your team members. • Your worksheet will be collected as an Exit Slip
