SUMMARY • Over 60% of the work has moved from the mid-scale and economy segments back to the upper upscale and upscale segments. • Over 75% of the projects are renovations of branded/ chain hotels. • Significant longer product lead times, on a larger overall budget, on shorter project schedules. • For 2013, we are spending more money on items that take longer to produce. • And 73% of the ISHP members think business will be up in 2013, with only 2% thinking business will be down in 2013. 12
