  1. Specify simulation time span and starting fluid composition on the Initial pane. Clean water You can set up to 2 reaction intervals. Interval 2: 2 – 10 years Interval 1: 0 – 2 years

  2. Inlet fluid enters the domain during Interval 1. Inlet fluid carries Pb++ pulse into the domain Interval 1: 0 – 2 years

  3. Inlet 2 fluid enters during Interval 2. Negligible Pb++in the second inlet fluid Interval 2: 2 – 10 years You can specify a unique composition for each of the Initial, Inlet, and Inject fluids.

  4. Set the flow field for each reaction interval on the Domain pane. You can set unique flowrate for 1st and 2nd reaction intervals Wells in X2t can have a different pumping rate for each reaction interval. Run → Go traces the model

  5. Pb++contaminated water enters domain for two years then is flushed with clean water.
