  2. Option #1 An important person- Write about an important person who has made a significant impact on your life.

  3. Option #2 An “Ahah” Moment- Write about an experience in which you gained an insight or understanding that has proved to be important in your life.

  4. Things to Remember Begin with your graphic organizer Use the 6-Traits of writing (look back at your notes) Be sure to run Spelling/ Grammar check and to Proofread on your own 2 pages, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman Don’t mess with the margins! Staple your graphic organizer to the back of your essay Print at the end of class to turn in.
