The European Union of Supported Employment, led by President Margaret Haddock, emphasizes the need for collective action to address the challenges and opportunities in supported employment across Europe. Our model focuses on engaging, placing, training, maintaining, and progressing individuals with disabilities in the labor market. Through recommendations for job coach competency definitions and formal training, alongside strategic partnerships and policy advocacy, we aim to create inclusive and accessible work environments. Together, we can improve employment prospects and fulfill the rights guaranteed under the UN Convention.
