  3. Do you have a website? • Goal: a blog with Google Analytics • Action: add a blog to an existing website or create a stand-along blog if no existing website. • Options: use Wordpress if a web developer is available, otherwise use Tumblr for the blog.

  4. Basic SEO • Goal: have a few localized keywords • Action: create some localized keywords of the type of business and location • Let’s add in a little inbound marketing!

  5. Create an Offer and a Landing Page • Goal: have a strong offer available • Action: create an offer and a corresponding landing page. On the landing page, have a form that allows visitors to get the offered item or service. NOTE: The form should capture the users email address ands forward that to the business owner or add it directly to an email list.

  6. Launch an Email Campaign • Goal: push your offer out to as many people as possible • Action: Using all existing email lists, push your offer out to everyone. Provide a link in the email directly to your landing page. NOTE: Create and manage a plan to start collecting more email addresses of customers and prospects.

  7. Launch a Social Media Campaign • Goal: Extend the company’s social media “reach” • Action: Push the offer out across appropriate social media platforms.
