Story highlights • Zeus wanted to seduce Aphrodite so he created new creatures for her. • Aphrodite then had an affair with her father. • Hera was jealous so she cursed the child that Aphrodite was carrying to be ugly. • When the child was born and Aphrodite found he was ugly she threw him off the mountain and a shepard found him.

Story Highlights • Hermes loves Aphrodite because she is beautiful. • Zeus helped Hermes to get Aphrodite. • While bathing in a river an eagle stole Aphrodite's sandal so Hermes retrieved it for her. • When Aphrodite found Hermes with the sandal she knew he loved her so Hermes put the eagle in the sky to become the constellation Aquilla. • Then Aphrodite loved him.
