  4. Characteristics of Appointment Booking System • Choose date, time and length of appointment • Book the appointment • View available times • Change bookings already made • Cancel bookings

Characteristics of Appointment Ticketing System Customers or booking staff can • Select an event • Choose a date • Check availability • Book multiple seats or places • Choose a seat or place • Cancel and change tickets • Issue a ticket (e-ticket) • Track an event – such as a flight from an airport • Issue confirmation emails • Pay for the seat/event • Confirm and verify purchase
