  3. Dreamweaver will open and look like this

  4. When start page appears, clickDon’t show againcheckbox When the alert window appears, check theDon’t show me this message againcheckbox, then click the OK button.

  5. In the Files pane, click Manage Sites in the Files list.

  6. When the Manage Sites window appears, click on the New button. When the menu appears click Site

  7. When the Site Definition appears, type the name of your sitein the first text box and then click theNextbutton

  8. When the second window appears check the No I don’t want to use server technology radio button,then click theNext button

  9. When the next screen appears leave theEdit local copies on my machineradio button checked. Then clickNextbutton.

  10. When the next screen appears, clickFTPin theHow do you connect to your remote server?list.

  11. In theWhat is your hostname or FTP address of your Web server?box typethe real address of your Web server. Then click theNext button.

  12. When the next screen appears, leaveNo do not enable check in and check out radio button checked. Then clickNext button.

  13. When theSummaryscreen appears, click theDonebutton

  14. Create a Home Page

  15. On theMenu Bar, clickFile, thenNew

  16. When theNew Documentwindow appears,clickHTMLin theBasic Pagecolumn

  17. A blank page should open

  18. In the blank page type: WebQuest

  19. Then type index.html in File name. Click Save

  20. Make sureLocal view is selected Index.htmlshould now appear inFile pane.

  21. Right-click in blank space on the page.When theMenu appears clickPage Properties

  22. In theCategorylist, clickTitle/Encoding.When Title/Encoding screen appears, type A Home Page about Dog
