CLASS ACTIVITY • Students will get into groups of 3-4 (1min) • Using your available resources (ie. internet, books, encyclopedias, magazines, etc.) research the Bermuda Triangle and find 4 different sources. (30) • After you review the information contained in the sources fill out the credibility spectrum (see example) separating the sources by placing those most credible at the top. Make sure you explain your reasoning. (15min)

  5. CLASS ACTIVITY • Class Discussion: Explain your conclusions to the class, using your credibility spectrum as a basis for justification. (20 min) • Is it fact or fiction? The outcome of this activity is learning: • direct information about the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon • to think critically by using a credibility spectrum • Decide on their position • communicate their beliefs and justifications in small and large groups
