  6. Deadlines Second instalment due by Friday 21st December Final instalment due by Friday 8th February 2013 Copy of VHI no./Travel/Medical Insurance to us by then also Notification of further deadlines will be issued in due course.

  7. Clothes Travel Attire; P.E. T-shirt, School Jacket Pack: 1 dress up outfit (smart casual) Very warm clothes/fleece Warm Pyjamas Slippers Comfortable shoes (lots of walking) Ariel tablets to hand wash (if necessary)

  9. Other things to pack • Towels • Toilet paper • Hold-all for valuables • Converters for phone, iPod, etc • Moisturiser • Sun block • Lip balm/lip block • Hand sanitizer • Wet wipes • First Aid kit, plasters, Immodium, Panadol etc. • Feminine products • Air freshener

  10. Communication while travelling to and/or in China Get your phone unblocked (if necessary) Check with your service provider whether it will work in China etc. Make sure you have it well topped up with credit.

  11. Food and Water • Drink only bottled water • Bring a couple of cereal bars to have as snacks • Do not eat street food • New country-authentic food-be adventurous

  12. Spending Money • Money Exchange • China Yuan Renminbi • 1 EUR = 8.15308 CNY 1 CNY = 0.122653 EUR • Bring Laser/VISA card to take money out there • 300 euro will be more than sufficient • Remember to keep euro for eating etc. at Dublin and Amsterdam Airports
