GOALS AND OBJECTIVES • Economic performance – grow and diversify trade, build relationships, maximise long term net worth of PKPC • Environmental performance – provide leadership in port environmental matters • Social performance – a safe work environment, motivated employees and to be socially and environmentally responsible

  5. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SEATS AND PKPC • Benefits the future of the Port and the region • Sends a good message to importers and exporters • Assists with the better understanding of each others needs

PORT DEVELOPMENT • 130 metre extension to MPB completed • $30 million private land side development behind the berth Jan 2006 – Dec 2006 • Construction of MPB 3 currently in progress – cost $40 million – expected completion mid 2007 • Planning for new berth EB 4 – cost $30 million expected completion – mid 2008 • Further land side development – cost $30 million expected completion mid 2008

  7. PORT DEVELOPMENTS cont’d • Relocation of Tom Thumb road • Relocation of rail line to perimeter of the development • Capital dredging for new berths • Commencement of planning for future Outer Harbour reclamation
