The Construction and Significance of Stonehenge
Stonehenge is an iconic prehistoric monument that showcases remarkable human endeavor. Built around 5,000 years ago, its construction demanded immense time, commitment, and labor. The initial phase involved earthworks, including a large ditch thought to have been dug using tools made from red deer antlers and possibly wood. Today, Stonehenge stands in a state of ruin, symbolizing the extraordinary effort and ingenuity of ancient peoples. This project illustrates the intersection of culture, engineering, and mysticism in early human society.
