Instructions • Complete the five Educational Modules for Infection Control, Hospital Safety, Patient Diversity, Safety Goals and Age Specific Care • Complete the five educational modules quizzes with a score of 80% or better • Print a copy of your quiz results • Read information provided about Methodist Medical Center • Complete the HIPAA 101 training module • Print, read and sign the Confidentiality statement • Print and sign the HIPAA Training Documentation Form • Print and complete the Immunization Record • Give quiz report, confidentiality statement and immunization record to your instructor.

Parking Students are instructed to park in employee parking located behind the hospital off of West Tennessee Avenue.
Smoking Policy Methodist Medical Center is a non-smoking facility. Visitors/staff can smoke ONLY in designated areas OUTSIDE the hospital. An enclosed smoking gazebo is located across from the Emergency Department. s

Code Blue • Verify that patient is unresponsive ABC’s • A - Open airway • B – Breathing (Look, listen and feel) • C – Circulation …..if breathing call RN for change in status • Verify ‘white’ name tag (full code) • Call x1500 and begin CPR
Code Blue – Student Role • Stay with assigned patient • You may go to the code room if situation allows • Assist as needed elsewhere • Be supportive of roommate
