  2. The fine line that separates visual design and graphic design is something that’s been the topic of debate for a very long time. Meanwhile both artists and designers creates visuals and have a shared toolkit and intelligence base, there’s a distinct difference between the two. Identifying exactly what the difference is, that’s where stuff gets tricky.

  3. Many designers would class themselves to be artists and few artists would consider themselves as designers. So how can the difference be made? In this article we will take a quick glance at the defining characteristics of the two techniques and consider the encouragement and intention of design and art as a starting point.

  4. In the Beginning…Industry speak, design is classified as the segment of visual art that is economical based. Visual art advisedly lacks marketing objectives. Advertising mock-ups and magazine illustrations selling a product can technically be highly accomplished as visual art but they are considered economically designed art products because of their main purpose (to sell something).v

  5. I believe that one of the fair difference between art and design is to be found in the first flashes of creativity. Broadly speaking, design and art come from very distinct starting points.Designing work usually originate from the need or desire to transmit a pre-existing message. A streamline, a logo or a call to action. On the other hand, a work of art, is the expression of a completely unique idea. It’s the process of injecting life into something private and personal to create an demonstrative bond between the artist and their audience.

  6. Design is a Skill, Art is a God-Given GiftDesign is a skill that is instructed and developed. And while several designers have been sanctified with a natural eye for the craft, it isn’t completely the same as being born with an native ability for sculpting, oil painting or installation-based style. From where does design end and art begin? Attempting to cubbyhole visual communication into categories is complicated, and ultimately impossible. Art and beauty is in the eye of the perceiver. And that’s one of the most, if not the most, admiring and fascinating facets of these mediums.

  7. If you’re a designer are you also an artist? Could an artist build anything without a keen eye for design? The debate continues…Meanwhile if you are an IT student and looking to make your career in Graphic Designing field, then you must join our graphic designing training programmes in yamuna vihar, delhi.
