PRODUCTS: SBS-1 & SBS-2 RADIO STATION IN A SUITCASE Product Summary: • A complete FM Broadcast station capable of AC & DC operation within or beyond existing commercial power networks. • The 13.8/28 Volt DC power requirements permits battery operation from solar or other charging sources to reach that last mile that is so important in educational broadcasting.

It can however, be fully utilized as a permanent FM broadcast station. • The console portion of these systems is ideal for community access to existing networks. • These consoles readily accept any audio source for rebroadcasting, including computers, satellite and/or other off-air or streamed programming.

  12. PRODUCTS:AC TO DC CONVERTERS • 120/240 Volt AC to13.8/28 Volt DC converters are available as optional items. These are switching power supplies of light weight and are filtered for use with communications equipment. • Protection features include current limiting; over-voltage protection; and, fused with over temperature shutdown.

  13. PRODUCTS:AUDIO INPUT/OUTPUT BOARD • A new audio input/output board has been added to our line of products. This board permits switching between console audio sources and external audio sources. • External sources such as satellite receivers, computers, shortwave radio receivers and other audio sources can be integrated directly into the mixer by means of our simple to use switching process • A telephone interconnect to the console, controlled by the mixer is now a standard feature.

PRODUCTS: Audio Equipment Audio Equipment • This equipment is available to augment or upgrade existing radio stations. • The following types of commercial equipment are used in the manufacture of our studio consoles. • This equipment is available to upgrade or expand systems on an individual basis.

PRODUCTS: Audio Equipment Six Channel Audio Mixer • Unit features four line inputs, RCA connectors and two microphone inputs (high/low impedence). • Operates in both Mono/Stereo operation and has a dual channel visual modulation level display. • Channel pre-selection for cue and control as well as an audio monitor level control. • Features dual high and low level outputs.

PRODUCTS: Audio Equipment CD Player • Operating features include audible track search, skip track search, pause and cue capability, random play, programmed play, repeat and intro-scan. • Units are capable of both mp3 and CD playback operations and memory storage to prevent skipping when the console is accidentally jarred.

PRODUCTS: Audio Equipment Tape Cassette Recorder/Player • Unit features full play and record capability. • Unit has pause and cue with a mechanical tape counter to assist in locating various tracks on the tape. • Units readily plug in and out of the console and come with an additional microphone, edit plug and edit cord to permit field recording and editing of local material. • Units utilize standard 30, 60 and 90 minute cassette tapes.

PRODUCTS AND PRICING: Audio Equipment Microphone • Unit is a high quality, high sensitivity, wide range unidirectional microphone. • Flexible neck permits easy adjustment for individual operators. • Directional pick-up pattern cuts down on unwanted background sounds and allows greater distance between the microphone and the sound source reducing feedback problems. • Features a wire mesh screen to cut down on breath pops and an XLR connector for a balanced low impedance connection.

OPTIONAL PRODUCTS:SOLAR CHARGING ARRAY • Solar Charging Arrays with storage batteries are available. • Power Systems are individually designed to meet user needs by using geographical location (latitude and longitude), planned hours of operation and transmitter output power information provided by purchaser.

OPTIONAL PRODUCTS:3 dBi GAIN ANTENNA • Fully tunable across the FM band from 88-108 MHz. • Includes tuning instructions, ground radials, mounting brackets and 30 meters of RG8 low-loss co-axial cable. • This will improve your coverage area without additional power input. • This item is shipped in a durable PVC container.

  22. Broadband Antenna A stacked dipole antenna which requires no tuning across the band from 88 mHz to 108 mHz. Provides an average gain of 1.7 dB. Shipped in a durable PVC container. Stereo Tape Recorder Players/Mini Disc Recorders Stereo tape recorders and solid state recorders are available on special order. Transmitters Available in RF power ratings adjusting from 10 Watts to 100 Watts. Either stereo or mono output can be supplied at the preference of the individual purchaser. Transmitters vary in cost depending upon their power and the stereo/mono option selected. Transmitters operate on 240V AC or on 13.8 Volts DC. DC units may be operated from AC power using an appropriate AC/DC converter. OPTIONAL PRODUCTS
