This initiative focuses on yearly mental health checkups for children, utilizing surveys and an inexpensive questionnaire to identify depression. The law P.A. 96-951 provides support for students in grades 7-12 suffering from depression. Statistics reveal that 1 out of 8 children experience depression. Interviews, visuals, and survey data help in raising awareness about this common disease and breaking the stigma surrounding it.
