The Tasks On Monday we were given a task from Sir David of Porritt which was to invent a new type of biscuit. • We had to work in a team and listen to each other • Make the net of the biscuit packet • Make a PowerPoint presentation • Make a log • We have to make the biscuits and name them. Then on Friday we will be ready for the presentation and Sir David of Porritt will see all the presentations and decides who gets hired and who gets fired.

  5. Research that we did • We researched mainly about the maths. We first chose lots of things and we made a frequency chart and two people have to go around and askes which where their favourite biscuit. Then we choose what we were going to do we came up with ginger crunch. • Then we did our PSHE and we discovered that how is good at what. Then we did a bit of English which we Discovered the slogans, the name, and the cover. We worked really hard as a team.

  6. First ideas • First we thought we could do a mix with a type of cookie and marshmallow but we didn’t know what cookie we could put the marshmallow on. Next day Manon tried cooking ginger and marshmallow but she said it didn’t taste so nice so instead she put white icing with vanilla and she said it tasted very nice.

  7. Product names We had to vote which product name we would chose • Family dreams • Family delights • Ginger marsh • Ginger dreams Our final decision was GINGER CRUNCH

  8. Slogan • Our slogan is ‘get a bunch of Ginger Crunch!’

  9. Our jingle Get a bunch of Ginger Crunch, Good for brunch and fab for lunch, Get a bunch of Ginger Crunch, It’s a family’s perfect munch!!

  10. Things that went well: • Teamwork • Our sides for the box. • Sorting problems out. • Co-operation • We have worked together well with ICT equipment. Things that gave us trouble: We disagreed sometimes and wasted a bit of time.We didn’t finish our net on the day that we were meant to. What we’d do differently next time: That everybody has a go on doing the website.

  11. More things that went well: • The power point. • The website. • We listened to each other. • Helping each other. Things that gave us trouble:Who did what.Sometimes people did only what they wanted to do. What we’d do differently next time: Don’t ignore peoples ideas.

  12. Pie chartMost people wanted Crunchy (with 3),Chewy (with 2),Crispy (with 1 person). Most people wanted Ginger and Vanilla (2 on each).The least people wanted chocolate chip(0 people).Most people wanted sweet biscuits/cookies(5 people).Most people thought that 2.00 was a good price for a box of our biscuits. Least people thought that 1.50 was a good price.
