  3. A Few Important Notes… • Version 8.1 of Banner will be implemented beginning October 19, 2009. • Banner will be down beginning 6:00 am Friday, October 16th – 18th for the conversion.

  4. In General, What’s Different? Tabbed interface on forms • Reserved Seat Functionality change • Registration Restriction Functionality changes (SSAPREQ and SSARRES)

  8. Section Reserved Seats(Banner 8) Reserved Seats is now accessed by clicking on the tab instead of the icon next to the Maximum Enrollment field.

  9. Section Reserved Seats(Banner 8), cont. • The Reserved Seats Population options have increased • College • Degree • Program • Field of Study (Major, Minor, Concentration) • Department • Curricula • Attribute (1DIS, 1030, etc.)

  11. Section Reserved Seats(Banner 8), cont. Overflow Check Box - Allows students to register above the restriction. No longer limited to ‘only’ students in a given population, but ‘at least’ the number of seats if a department chooses.
