  3. How houses are allocated... When a new family arrives at St. George’s, our Registrar allocates them to a house. An overview is kept to ensure a general balance amongst numbers within each house.

  4. House Points All Lower School pupils have their own House Point Diary. They use this to record House Points they are given and collect certificates along the way. The total for each house is counted each half term and an annual winner is announced in the Lower School Prize Giving Ceremony.

  5. House Captains Duties • To supervise children entering after playtimes. • To act as a role model for Lower School Pupils • To organise and judge competitions. • To assist within Lower School as required.

  6. House Competitions Throughout the year various house competitions take place. The centre piece of this calendar of events is our annual Sports Day. Last year Lower School had a Football Competition and an Easter Egg Competition, the latter was judged by the House Captains. House system is central to our continued effort in increasing competitions and events within Lower School.
