Hands-on Soil Infrared Spectroscopy Training Course • This course will cover • Components and the fundamentals of infrared spectroscopy techniques: • Sample handling in the laboratory for infrared spectroscopy analysis: Shipping, reception, preparation, loading and storage. • Sample analysis using infrared spectroscopy : NIR and MIR instruments • Getting the best out of Opus software in data capturing and analysis, loading Spectra to the database and developing calibration procedures. • Sample information management and infrared spectral data analysis • Routine and preventive maintenance of NIR and MIR systems • The course will consist of lectures, demonstrations and hands-on laboratory sessions
