  28. What is the Booster Club? Parents that provide time and raise funds to: • Promote parent, player, student and community involvement in football. • Coordinate/support team activities. • Provide services, facilities and equipment which are not provided by the school district. • Ensure recognition for the program and its athletes. • Encourage attendance and Increase the enjoyment of the fans at all football games & activities.

  34. Ford Drive 4UR School • When: June 2nd @ RHS from 9-3 • What: Test drive a car, for every household that test drives a new Ford, Ford will give us $20 up to $6,000 to the program. • How to help: Put it on your calendar, bring a friend, invite neighbors! We need 300 households to drive!

  35. Entertainment Discount Cards • When: First week of Practice • What: Each player sells cards. For use at many great locations in Redmond. Grocery store locations will be scheduled for the players. • How to help: Please make sure your son sells their cards!

Texas Hold’em & Silent Auction When and Where: Saturday, August 25th @ Redmond Sr. Center • Texas Hold’em • What: Two levels of play (Junior Varsity and Varsity). • JV - FUN with prizes, Many JV tables will have coaches dealing (Mom’s, it’s your chance to tell the coaches about your son!) • Varsity - more serious card players, bigger payout. • Silent Auction • Asking each football family to provide an auction item ($25+ target) • Combine with other families, solicit donations.

  42. · We would then break out into 4 groups (Sr&Jr (combined), Sophs, 8th and 9th) and have 4 sessions of 10-15 minutes each with the leaders rotating so we don’t lose people. • Session (they will have to be short and sweet): • 1. Coaches (you can decide what to cover for each group) • 2. Kevin Chiles – Strength and Conditioning (what he is doing, make sure everyone has a form, understands the donation aspect) • 3. Kari – Quickly describe each/some of the Volunteer positions. Make sure we at least get: • a. Parent contact lead for each grade • b. Food/Meals lead for each grade (to help Pam) • c. Ad sales volunteers • d. Other?? • e. Volunteer sign up for as much as we can. (you were going to create “bigger sheets”) • 4. Julie – Not sure if you will have all the membership stuff ready by here (need to make sure we get the one time discount to incent the early signup). If you are ready, we can discuss the Booster club membership and/or: • a. We could hand out: • i. Football camp paperwork • ii. Website signup instructions - Robert • iii. Overview of membership if we don’t have the details
