  2. Coaches Packets • Packets include: • 5 copies of Roster – one to be given to referee for each game. • Game Slips to present to referee at game • Home Team - Referee Payment (plus 2 AR if crew) • Home Team Score Slip • Away Team Score Slip

  3. Game Slips – Referee payment Home team provides Referee with Payment slips

  4. Game Slips – Score cards • Each team has a game score card to give to referee at start of game.

  5. Referee Check-In • All coaches will meet with referee prior to equipment check • Provide Referee with • Roster • Referee Payment Slip (If home team) • Game Score Slip • Referee’s will perform a Roster check during equipment check. • Only Spring Roster players are allowed. • No guests – No Returning “Fall Season” players

  7. Tournament Format • U7/8 • Three groups of 4 teams, each group playing each other “Round Robin”. • Three Group Winners plus best Wild Card team play in Semi Final and then Final • U10 and U12Girls • Two groups of 4 teams, each group playing each other “Round Robin”. • Two Group Winners play in Final

  8. Tournament Format • U12 Boys • One group of 5 teams playing each other “Round Robin”. • Top two teams play in Final • U14G • One group of 4 teams playing each other “Round Robin”. • Top team is winner • U14B • Two teams – play one game.

  9. Scoring Format • Game Points • 6 points for a win • 3 points for a tie • 0 points for a loss • Goal Points • 1 point per goal scored (regardless of win/lose/tie) for first 3 goals • Max of 3 Goal Points per game • No Shutout Point – Max 9pts per game. • Goal Difference limited to 6 goals per game • Examples • A 2-1 win scores 8 points for the winning team, and 1 for the loosing team. • A 4-4 tie scores 6 points for each team. • An 8-0 win scores only as 6-0 and 9 points for the winning team.

Knock-Out Tie Breaker Format • Penalty Shoot Out • Round 1 – Best of 5 • Coach nominates 5 players as shooters from the players on the field at the end of regulation play (Goalie can be nominated as one of the 5) • Teams take alternating Penalty Shots • Team with most goals after all 5 players from each side have taken kicks is the winner.

Knock-Out Tie Breaker Format • Penalty Shoot Out • Round 2 – If necessary • Remaining players not originally nominated, take alternating Penalty Shots until one team has a decisive score at the end of a round. • No player can shoot again, until all team mates have shot (or all players on opponents have shot) • Goalies can be changed whenever necessary, but once a goalie has been removed they cannot go back in goal until the next round.

  13. Weather • KSA will attempt to wait out any bad weather and resume the games. If this is not possible due to field conditions or dangerous weather, the game will cancelled: • If the game is stopped at any point during the second half – the game will be considered final, and the score when the game was stopped will be the final score. • If the game was not started or is stopped during the first half, the game will be recorded as a 0-0 tie. • No games will be rescheduled if they cannot be played as planned.

  14. Expectations of Sportsmanship • Zero Tolerance is still in effect and is REQUIRED by all. • Referee’s opinion is what counts - LOTG • Not coaches opinion • Not parents opinion • ITOOTR • Only one team can win • But everyone looses if Sportsmanship is lost
