Training Objectives • Allow trainees to develop teaching capability within a ‘safe’ environment (but at same time encourage them to gradually step out of their comfort zone) • Deliver a sound understanding of pupils and learning • Allow time to review and share experiences and good practice (as a whole group) • Train mentors to ensure a consistent approach • NB Programme runs continually throughout block practice
