What kind of degree needed for a  speech therapist?  ● Eligibility criteria – A student has to take science stream up to twelfth. He needs to pass all the medical subjects physics, chemistry, and maths in the twelfth standard. After that, he needs to take an entrance exam for 90 minutes MCQ. ● Bachelor degree in Audiology and Speech-language pathology(BASLP) – A bachelor degree is of three year period. Bachelor degree coursework includes linguistics, physiology, math, and science. ● Master’s degree – This degree is affiliated with the Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-language Pathology(CAA). This degree teaches you to how to evaluate and treat speech, voice and language disorder. With this master degree, a person also takes a clinical training program. ● Other degrees – There are other degrees also for a speech therapist. It includes MSc in Audiology, Post Graduate Certificate in Audiology Verbal Therapy and Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech.
