  4. A child from the Children’s Cultural Centre, Bethlehem I feel sad when they cut the trees down. The trees can’t run away and hide. I wish that we could protect all people and trees.

  5. A child from the Children’s Cultural Centre, Bethlehem I am 12 years old. I live in Al-Deheisha refugee camp. I love football, music, dancing and reading. I love listening to my grandmother's stories. She talked about her life in our village that was destroyed in the 1948 war. She never gets bored from talking about the figs, olives and almond trees that she had around her house. She wishes to see me play in that field. My wishes are the same as my grandmother's wishes.

  6. A child from the Children’s Cultural Centre, Bethlehem Both Christians and Muslims live in Bethlehem. We all live together as equals. I asked my father about Jews. He said that we could live with them it they give us our rights. I wish for that.

  7. A child from the Children’s Cultural Centre, Bethlehem One of my classmates had been killed by an Israeli soldier. His desk was empty, no one dared to sit at it. Each year I write my wishes and they are always the same. I hope that no one will be killed. I hope freedom comes to Palestine and Jerusalem becomes the capital.
